We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal data we process about you, why, for how long, and what rights you have. It mainly concerns the e-mail you give us when subscribing to the daily quotes, and website analytics data.

When you subscribe, we process your e-mail address and language preference (Czech / Slovak).
For technical and security reasons we also store your IP address, browser information (user-agent) and the time of signup - this serves as proof of consent and as protection against form abuse.
During a normal visit we process anonymised traffic data via Google Analytics (see the Cookies section).
We process your e-mail in order to send you daily quotes and news from the Zoufalky community. The legal basis is your consent, given by subscribing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Traffic data is processed to improve the website, based on your consent to analytics cookies.
Consent is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw it at any time - see the Your Rights section.
We never sell your data. We share it only with processors that help us run the service:
Websupport, s.r.o. - provider of the e-mail server through which we send you the quotes (Slovakia, EU).
Google Ireland / Google LLC - Google Analytics for measuring traffic. Data may also be processed outside the EU (USA) under standard contractual clauses.
We keep your e-mail and related data for as long as your consent lasts, i.e. until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
After you unsubscribe we keep your address only to the extent necessary so we don't accidentally e-mail you again. On request we will delete the data completely.
Regarding your personal data you have the following rights under GDPR: the right of access, rectification, erasure (the "right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
You can unsubscribe with one click via the link in the footer of every e-mail. Any other right can be exercised by writing to info@zoufalky.com - we will handle it without undue delay.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz), in Slovakia the Office for Personal Data Protection SR (dataprotection.gov.sk).
The site uses necessary cookies required for its basic operation (e.g. the form security token). These are always stored.
We also use analytics cookies from Google Analytics that help us understand how the site is used. These load only when you give consent in the cookie bar. You can change your consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
